AWARDS
The Asian Pacific Association for Computational Mechanics announces the following awards to recognize outstanding contributions in computational mechanics.
APACM Congress Medal
|
This is one of the highest recognitions bestowed on an individual for his/her significant contributions in promoting computational mechanics not only through his personal research but also for his exemplary services to the computational mechanics community through the regional and international associations. A maximum of one award for every three years will be given only if a suitable candidate is nominated.

APACM Congress Medal
|
This is also one of the highest recognitions bestowed on an individual for his/her significant contributions through personal research in computational mechanics as well as for the organizational contributions through APACM and/or IACM. A maximum of one award for every three years will be given if a suitable candidate is nominated.

APACM Computational
|
This award is given to an individual for his/her long and sustained contributions in a particular field of computational mechanics. A maximum of three awards (one in each of the solid, fluid and other fields) will be given for every three years.

APACM Young
|
This award is given to a promising young investigator of forty years or below at the time of nomination as an encouragement for further high quality research in computational mechanics. A maximum of six awards for every three years will be given.
|
APACM Senior
|
This award will be given to persons of 65 years old or over at the time of nomination who have made significant contribution to computational mechanics in Asia Pacific region. There is no limit in the total number.
